Give Grill’d feedback
In Australia, chickens are selectively bred to grow too big and fast for their own bodies to handle. This means they often suffer chronic pain and health issues. They don’t get enough space, light, or clean air. And they are killed using outdated, inhumane methods.
That’s not good enough. It’s time for Aussie chickens to get a better life.
The Better Chicken Commitment targets these welfare issues, calling for a switch to:
Higher welfare, slower growing chicken breeds
Comfortable, healthy living conditions, where each chicken has enough space, light and clean air
Slaughter methods that are more humane, with effective stunning and no live shackling

SUBJECT: Will Grill’d join the Better Chicken Commitment?
SUBJECT: Concern about chicken welfare standards
DESCRIPTION:
I’d like to know when Grill’d will join the Better Chicken Commitment and stop buying fast-growing chickens.
You were the first fast food chain to switch to 100% RSPCA Certified chicken. But now, almost all chicken is RSPCA Certified - I look to brands like Grill’d to lead on animal welfare, as you have before.
Without the Better Chicken Commitment, over 750 million chickens in Australia each year will continue to grow too big and fast for their own bodies to handle, live in cramped, uncomfortable conditions, and be killed using outdated, inhumane methods.
Australia’s chickens deserve better - will you help them?
3) Personalise your feedback
If you are a customer, especially if you have recently eaten at Grill’d, say so. You can also add why you personally care about meat chicken welfare.
